Reporting to the EROS Project Manager, the Overseas Systems (EROS) Training Manager will be responsible for leading and developing a team of Trainers to deliver training on our internal platform (EROS), used by our Overseas In Resort teams and Head Office support functions. This role will involve ensuring your team achieves targets and SLA’s for delivery and quality of training throughout the Jet2holidays population who will be using the EROS system. You will be responsible for designing, developing and maintaining training processes and procedures for all Jet2holidays colleagues on EROS. Through your team of trainers, you will ensure colleagues undertake classroom based training, e-learning and on the job coaching on the new EROS system. You will lead your trainers to design and deliver effective training and develop your team through a ‘train the trainer’ approach. This role will also involve coordination of data migration and user testing. This is a role with a significant level of responsibility that will ensure that our Jet2holidays colleagues receive the highest possible levels of support with the rollout of the EROS training program.

The Executive Assistant role is responsible for providing an efficient, accurate and timely administration service for the Directors through effective support to the Executive Assistant Services Manager. This exciting, fast paced position is a Maternity Cover position for 12 Months.
In this role you will be first point of contact for the Directors, responsible for preparing agendas, briefing papers and associated paperwork for Directors, in advance of their meetings, including preparation of the monthly reports. You will be accountable for logging and distributing all correspondence to the relevant Team, screening all inbound calls for the Directors, distributing post, as well as setting up conference calls. You will liaise with our internal Travel Services Team and external contacts to arrange Directors’ travel and accommodation. Booking meeting rooms and venues, including providing refreshments by liaising with external suppliers, is also a key part of the role along with managing Directors’ expenses and annual leave entitlement. The successful candidate will be confident, have excellent administration experience including strong written and verbal communication skills. You must be proactive, willing to work under your own initiative, whilst being able to adhere to tight timescales and be adaptable to work within a dynamic and changeable Business. You should have extensive experience of Microsoft Office packages, particularly Excel, Word and PowerPoint, with the ability to produce clear and concise reports. Based at Edinburgh Airport and reporting to the General Manager, the Administrator & Customer Helper plays a pivotal role in supporting Jet2.com’s Ground Operations Team at Edinburgh Airport. This is a varied and interesting role in which you will work at the heart of the operation to support the Team with all administration duties. This is a Fixed Term Contract opportunity until April 2019. As a Base Administrator you will be responsible for assisting the management team with all administrative duties for our Ground Operations Team at Edinburgh Airport. Key responsibilities will include maintaining staff records, supporting with ID pass applications and referencing, uniform ordering, assisting with rostering, ordering of stationery and recording leave and shift changes. You will also play an important role in supporting the base with all general administration duties including managing petty cash and processing invoices. The successful candidate will already be demonstrating Role Model behaviours. You will have a strong background in administration and be a competent user of Microsoft packages including Word, Excel and Outlook. With excellent planning skills and meticulous attention to detail, you will be organized and be able to manage a varied workload. Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential along with a strong Team focus. Experience in a similar role would be an advantage, although this is not essential. Reporting to the Recruiter, the Recruitment Coordinator will be responsible for providing recruitment support to the Commercial Office, IT, Digital & Technology Jet2.com and Jet2holidays Recruitment Team. You will represent the Recruitment Team on the phone, in some interviews and assessment centres, and provide ad-hoc recruitment support as and when required. Please note this position is initially a fixed term contract until 31st March 2019.
In this exciting new position, you will support the Recruiters in the progression of all candidates throughout the recruitment process, helping to ensure all applications are processed and relevant engaging communications keeping them informed of their application status are applied in a timely manner. You will arrange meeting rooms and send invites to Hiring Managers, candidates and relevant Recruiters for interviews and undertake any telephone screening as and when required. You will be the friendly face of the Jet2.com / Jet2holidays recruitment team, meeting all candidates scheduled for interviews and answering any questions they have to ensure they receive the highest level of candidate experience. You will also work with our Recruiters to identify niche / hard to fill roles, build talent pools on our applicant tracking system (Kenexa) and perform searches on external job boards / professional social networks. Taking full responsibility for the booking of all internal and external venues for our Open Days, Recruitment Fairs, Assessment Centres is also a key part of the role along with being responsible for all materials required on the day. Working alongside our Recruitment Administrator, you will create and maintain a Compliance Tracker to highlight candidate’s status in regards to taken and processed documentation, allowing for a smooth and professional on-boarding process. The successful candidate will be educated to degree level or equivalent, have excellent Microsoft Office skills, particularly with Excel and a high attention to detail. With fantastic communication skills, both written and verbal, you will be just as comfortable working as part of a team or on an individual basis. A good working knowledge of e-recruitment systems and a demonstrable understanding of recruitment practices and processes would be highly desirable but not essential for the role. You will then support a wide range of Operational Teams, undertaking duties as Cabin Crew, Flight Planning and learning the day to day aspects of one of our Crew Rooms. On successful completion of the Apprenticeship, Jet2.com will provide you with a fully bonded Type Rating, and you will enter the world of commercial aviation as a Second Officer. Successful candidates will already have a UK Issued Frozen ATPL Pilots Licence, Current Class One Medical and a valid UK driving licence. Along with this, you will have completed an MCC and JOC course and have strong ATPL Theory exam results. You will have also maintained your flying ‘currency’ through training and/or regular flying. You will have excellent verbal and written communication skills and experience of office IT systems. In addition, you must be flexible as we may require you to work from any of our 9 UK Bases. Part of your role will be to carry out regular visits to all resorts within the destination to ensure KPI’s are being achieved by working with key stakeholders and providing ongoing coaching and development of the overall team. You will also ensure that branding guidelines are adhered to and that updates are distributed as and when required. To be successful in this role you will have proven customer service and operational management experience gained from working with a tour operator, along with excellent team leadership and motivational skills. You’ll be confident in dealing with difficult situations and taking them to a positive conclusion. You will already be living in or willing to relocate to Fuerteventura and will ideally speak the local language confidently, as well as being fluent in English. Reporting to the Database Administration (DBA) Manager, the SQL Server DBA will work as part of a team of highly skilled database administrators/engineers within the DBA Release Support team to provide release support for our expanding development teams. This support team is largely focused on managing a DB release up to live including performance analysis, assisting with development requests/queries, script reviews and suggesting improvements and monitoring a very large test estate on our private cloud.
The successful candidate would have strong PowerShell and automation skills and be motivated by refining, improving and automating tasks and processes to help the rest of the team work with such a large estate. They would have an interest in community-based solutions like dbatools and dbachecks and would have an interest in keeping their skills up to date.
The automation involved in this role is largely around private cloud, so existing knowledge of Hyper-V (essential) and Virtual Machine Manager (VMM) is an advantage. Furthermore, you will be a dynamic, approachable and proactive team player, as you will be working closely with a number of internal departments, including our Holidays Revenue, Network Planning and Contact Centre Teams. Additional responsibilities include providing prices to our Groups department, based on analysis of flight performance, to ensure the best available fares are provided for large bookings, along with processing aircraft and schedule changes, making suggestions where we could better utilise our varied fleet of aircraft to maximise our revenue generating opportunities. You will also monitor all competitors of Jet2.com and Jet2holidays, ensuring our fares are fully optimised within the marketplace. Experience within Revenue Management, although not essential, and a keen interest in the aviation / travel industry would be highly advantageous in this role.
