It is an incredibly exciting time for us. In July'16, we announced the launch of our eighth UK airport base at Birmingham Airport. In Sept'16 we took delivery of the first of 30 brand new Boeing 737-800 NG Aircraft and announced the launch of our ninth UK airport base at London Stansted Airport in Spring 2017. Everyday, we see our family friendly formula continually delivering success - something which saw us recently voted the UK's best airline by users of TripAdvisor and the UK's Most Loved Airline by users of Skytrax.

Wow - we get up to so much here, from procurement to managing the phone systems, distributing uniforms to monitoring Company credit card use. There is lots to do and get involved in, as we ensure that every business area gets the support it needs.
Our main responsibilities are establishing and developing relationships with Airports and Tourist Boards in the UK and Overseas, as well as with Governments and Chambers of Commerce. We build strong relationships with Airports and Tourism organisations to work in partnership, promoting our routes and destinations through co-marketing campaigns and PR activities that promote our 'Friendly low fares' and package holidays you can trust. We work closely with all Teams of Jet2.com and Jet2holidays to ensure our customers experience a seamless service when travelling with us.
We get involved in every aspect of the Jet2.com and Jet2holidays operation - from evaluating the viability of aircraft purchases right through to providing Managers with budgets and forecasts. We also look at the costings for new routes, product pricing policies and, of course, we're the people who provide the daily, weekly and monthly reports that keep everything running smoothly money-wise.
We take a pro-active, business partner approach across Jet2.com and Jet2holidays dealing with everything from recruitment and training through to handling any HR issue for the UK and European bases. With such a diverse and widespread Team, our work is incredibly varied and you'll gain invaluable experience in an open culture of recognition and reward.
This Team is responsible for varied activities, drafting and advising on all types of contracts and agreements, maintaining and updating internal policy and sorting out the T&Cs of sale for both Jet2.com and Jet2holidays . We also manage the intellectual property portfolio of the business so you'll certainly be involved in a variety of vital work.
It's all go with the Jet2.com and Jet2holidays Marketing Team! We handle all online and offline activity, so think press and TV ads, direct mail drops, digital communications, online ads, email campaigns, search engine optimisation (SEO), Pay-Per-Click (PPC) and, of course, the websites themselves! We're here to get the brand message across loud and clear and to drive sales.
We're here to maximise flight revenue whilst ensuring our customers get the very best fares. We take ownership of a portfolio of routes and look carefully at the fares, industry trends, and of course, keep a very close eye on what the competition's up to. Additionally, we are always on the lookout for any other factors that might affect financial performance!
Creating memories for groups travelling with Jet2.com or Jet2holidays is also vital for us. Whether it's a family celebration, special birthday or simply friends travelling together, you could either be arranging flights for a group of customers or delivering a complete holiday package. It's fast-paced, lots of fun and always customer-focused.
We look after it all, from snacks, drinks, scents and gifts to negotiating great deals on car hire and travel insurance or promoting reserved seats and in-flight meals to our customers. It's all about enhancing the customer experience with excellent products whilst generating effective and innovative revenue streams. It doesn't finish there though - we oversee the entire in-flight retail sales operation from looking at market trends right through to reconciling flight sales data - and everything in between.
We're a busy Team that's always got a new idea or initiative on the go to meet revenue targets, customer needs and make sure every Jet2.com and Jet2holidays journey offers a VIP experience.
There are five key areas here - Network Planning, Commercial Operations, Crew Planning and Rostering, Charter Sales and Freight Operations. We juggle the needs of many different Teams to ensure that each Jet2.com aircraft is utilised in the most efficient and cost-effective way.
Jet2.com and Jet2holidays spend many millions of pounds on the services and products we need to support our business. Procurement is focussed on obtaining a great service and developing long term relationships with our suppliers, as well as overall value for money. The Procurement Team works with colleagues across the business to tender and negotiate service and supply contracts and helps manage supplier performance to ensure our contracts and supplier relationships deliver outstanding performance, in support of overall business delivery.
We now run 12 month Graduate Development Scheme within our IT, Revenue & Holiday Teams.
Once your development is complete you will understand both Jet2.com and Jet2holidays operation.
